BrightGauge alternative

The self-hosted BrightGauge alternative for MSPs.

BrightGauge is the ConnectWise-house dashboard, and if your whole stack is ConnectWise it fits naturally. But if you run HaloPSA, SuperOps, NinjaOne or a mixed stack — or the price line has been creeping while the product hasn't — Nexus gives you a live wall on your own server, every integration a first-class adapter, from a flat £29/month with no implementation fee.

Why MSPs pick Nexus over BrightGauge

Live, not synced

Nexus reads your PSA and monitoring tools directly — 20-second call refresh, 60-second tickets — instead of waiting on data syncs into someone else's warehouse.

Every PSA a first-class adapter

HaloPSA, ConnectWise PSA, SuperOps, NinjaOne, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Freshservice, JSM, Zoho Desk, Help Scout, Front — first-class adapters, not one favourite child. Monitoring (UniFi, Meraki, Acronis, Huntress & more) rides alongside.

Flat, honest pricing

£29–£119/month with every integration bundled, unlimited screens and no onboarding fee — not per-datasource add-ons on top of a $325 floor.

Pick BrightGauge if you're all-in on ConnectWise and lean on its scorecards and QBR report library. Pick Nexus if you want a live wall on your own server, a mixed or non-ConnectWise stack treated as first-class, and a bill that doesn't grow per datasource.

Comparison reflects each product's published positioning and pricing to the best of our knowledge as at mid-2026 — they change, so check each vendor's site. BrightGauge is a trademark of its respective owner (ConnectWise); Nexus is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by it. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we'll fix it.

The maths

A typical MSP service desk, per year.

Nexus Enterprise — flat
£1,100/yr
Annual plan · every PSA + monitoring vendor bundled · unlimited screens & client-scoped boards · self-hosted
BrightGauge — from
~$3,900/yr
Standard tier at $325/mo, before per-datasource add-ons and the $499 implementation fee

Illustrative, using published entry pricing as at mid-2026. Rival figures are in their listed currency (USD); Nexus is in £, so the figures aren't a direct currency-for-currency comparison.

Where BrightGauge genuinely wins

All-in ConnectWise shops: its ConnectWise PSA/RMM datasets go deep — agreements, finance, per-endpoint fields — and if that's your whole world, the native fit is real.

QBR template depth: years of accumulated report templates, scorecards and goal dashboards. Nexus now builds client QBR packs of its own — per-client tickets, monitoring posture, AI narrative and your notes, on demand or auto-emailed monthly — but BrightGauge's template library is still broader.

Fully managed: nothing to host. If running a Docker container isn't your team's thing, a cloud product is a fair call — Nexus is self-hosted by design.
